Welcome FIRST LEGO League Volunteers!

The FLL is a volunteer driven program. That means we need YOU! Your help is vital to providing the best program possible for the children. Volunteers manage every aspect of the FLL program. Around the world over 85,000 volunteers help to run the FLL program in 65 countries. Would you like to join the team?

Why should you volunteer to participate in the FLL?

• Build a better future: The FLL gives you the chance to help mold the next generation of scientists, researchers, engineers, inventors, and entrepreneurs.
• Meet interesting people: The FLL is the perfect place to meet new and interesting people. Our volunteers come from all backgrounds, many are professionals and community leaders.

What you can do

Volunteer for one of the operational committees. FIRST LEGO League Operational Committees are vital tools for the organization and maintenance of the FLL Program. (See Voluntário / Volunteer to sign up to be a volunteer.)

FLL Operational Committee: The FLL Planning Committee works to run the FLL program all year and also assists with running the Championship tournament. Each member is responsible for a different piece of the FLL puzzle and maintains communication between planning meetings. FLL Tournament Committee: The Tournament Committee assists with management of all tournament design and implementation.  The FLL Partner (Evoluir21) oversees all Tournament Committee decisions and the Event Manager ensures that they are implemented before and during the tournament. FLL Regional Operational Partner: The FLL Operational Partner for Portugal is looking for regional partners to help us recruit teams and organize local tournaments. Being an Regional Operational Partner is an exclusive relationship that grants special rights, privileges and responsibilities. Help us Translate: The FLL is an international program and most of the information comes in English. Translation is a huge task. Please volunteer to translate text from the website or from the yearly guides buy emailing Noah J Revoy at fll@evoluir21.org.

Volunteer for a FLL Tournament: Each FLL Tournament needs Judges, Referees, and other specialist volunteers. Volunteering for an FLL Tournament is fun, exciting and requires very little time. Become and FLL Ambassador: FLL Ambassadors advocate for the FLL in their company or community. To be an FLL Ambassador is a very special opportunity that includes special perks. The FLL Operational Committee chooses FLL Ambassadors from among our best volunteers. (See our list of FLL Ambassadors).
